Today, some of the Grade 4 and 5 students from Radisson participated in our school division's annual Guy Fawkes flag football tournament, with Ms. Hanna (our Phys. Ed. teacher) and I acting as coaches. We were divided up into three teams: the Vikings (yay!), the Bengals (the favourite team of Ms. Hanna!), and the Colts (unfortunately, none of our teams were named the Buccaneers, which is MY favourite NFL team!). Although it was cold and windy, we had a fabulous time. All of the preparation of the last few weeks showed, as our Radisson teams played hard, and showed fantastic sportsmanship - it is a privilege to go to events like this with such a great group of students!
