The latest from our class Instagram account - BWCS's newest employee
At our assembly this morning, we met Coral. Coral is the newest employee at our school. She is working full-time in one of the Grade 1 classes, where she helps one of the students, and today was her first day on the job! We learned that because she is working, we are not to (1) pet or touch her, (2) feed her, or (3) call her name. If we were to do those things, it would distract her from doing her job of helping the student. It was nice to hear that after a long day of work, she will get to 'be a dog' at home, where she'll be able to run and play a lot, and get plenty of affection from her family! via Instagram http://ift.tt/2nbadhv

This morning, we kicked off our Plants and Soils unit in Science. Ms. Maneluk began by leading the students through a discussion of what they think they know about plants and soils, and what they want to learn about them.
